gostros- Gostros aka Bo has been a vw fan his entire life. As a teen, My money and time were spent on my 69 impala. While away at school, my dad sold the impala (it was dead in the driveway) and I never saw it again. After getting married and having a child, I was able to find my first vw, a 74 standard beetle, for only $300. After getting the engine rebuilt, the dream finally came true. In addition to the 74, I have also owned a few parts cars (74 super, 64 beetle) and a daily driver almost original 68. Currently DLK and I are working on my 71 baywindow hardtop westy. With a growing family, it seemed like a bus was the way to go. I grew up on the northwest side of Houston. I enjoy working for Goodman Manufacturing as a business analyst. Graduated from Sam Houston State University where I studied international business and also economics. If I had more spare time, I would try to get in shape, play my drums and start writing music again. I'd like to have more time to read books about economics. But untill that happens, I'll spend my spare time with my sons, working on my bus. DLK is great.
