Ok so I got the seal on my distributor replaced. I'm not sure if that was the source of the leak but the old seal was really brittle when it came off so it needed to be replaced anyway. I took out the oil pressure switch and cleaned it up and threw a little teflon tape on it before it went back in, So thats ruled out. I got to looking and i might be having some blow by coming out from the vent hose on the oil stand. The hose is brittle and needs replaced and is always disconnected when I open the deck lid. Maybe I'll try replacing that too. Thanks for all the help.

My 69 leaks some too. I think it is around the cam plug on the block. The guy that rebuilt it reied to fix, but I have a feeling I need to pull the motor and tear it down and reassemble.

I think I am going to get a second engine block and see if I can build one myself and have a spare motor.

Anyone know how hard it is to change out the seals in the oil pressure relief plugs on a dual relief case? Do you have to drain all the oil? I think I got one thats leaking.

yup, drain the oil first, otherwise its going to come pouring out when you pull the relief or bypass plug.
