Opinions on thermostats/cooling flaps? Ive done some research and in my quest to keep my engine stock I think I want to get this part working again. I have my original thermostat and bracket but no cooling flaps, rod or linkage of the shroud. Anyone have any flaps that will fit a doghouse shroud? linkages?

The thermostat is not necessary in a warmer climate like Houston. Personally, I would skip it, if they malfunction your engine will overheat real quick. Just my 2 cents 8-)
