OK. I need an air-cooled nut to come look at this Spyder! 2165cc w/dual 44 IDFs. I am used to large V8s with really big carbs. Rather than finding the info myself (I can read, I just don't have the time), I would like to find someone that knows what they are doing. The car has been sitting for a year (fired up once a month) and just doesn't run well. Plus, I would really like to know what I have here. If some parts on the engine are crap, I would like to know. I have all the paperwork and dyno sheet that came with the engine. I have a complete shop with lifts and tools and a grill for some great food! I also have cash if that is a good motivator as well. Thanks.

With a 1200lb car it's not a slouch! Problem is I am used to 500/500 in a 2600lb Cobra. The Spyder is actually more fun to drive.

Thanks, but I can take it to a friend in Austin. I just don't have time for either. Does anyone local have the time for this? I am at the shop all day today. Thanks.

I have a reall good webber book if you ever need it, even has step by step instructions hand written on the back by my Dad. I have the same carbs as you I struggle with them at times as well.
