Alright found my oil leak, behind oil sensor to the upper head stud. Now what? searched the samba forums and saw alot of similar stories on people over tightening thier oil sensors and cracking the case. Is that what happened here? Dont know but need some input. In these threads there were alot, almost all answers were to clean, dremel, and jb weld the crack. Sounds a little ghetto but if thats it aside from a new case then so be it.    please help me out here guys.

Uh oh! I've never seen that happen, hopefully it's not a big deal!

Do the jb weld trick. Sounds like that is all you need to do.

that oil sensor is tapered and someone screwed it all the way in..jb weld it and run with it...be sure and wrap the sensor with some teflon tape when you put it in

Clean, dremel, and you need a hole at the point where the crack stops now to keep it from cracking futher put the sensor back in & jb weld it after it dries put a hose clamp around the case where the sensor screws in.

the teflon tape can make it worse in some cases.-ha cases-

I've moved to using a liguid sealant with them to keep pressure off the case ..Like permatex
or such

just a small dab on the threads will smear on all of them once you start to thread it into the case.
