Yea it's testbud motor... I though he had a good rep for building motors?
No bug-o-holics dust go into detail just told me I needed to do the whole valve assembly ... Thanks every1 for the input

ive never heard anything bad about test buds motors....

i dont know much about bug a holics though....ive heard mixed reviews....

sounds like you need to check the torgue of the head...sometimes they get loose and leak causing it to pop...i would just torgue the ones i could get too with the motor in the car without taking the valves train off...then see if it fixes the problem...if so then i would pull it out whenever i got a chance and torque them all...

The motor has a tapping sound also now... It's hard to pinpoint where it's from, a few ppl looked at it at the night show... I've pretty much given up on this whole motor and gonna start from scratch all over ...

I've never heard of an engine built by Testbud to be bad; what I'm talking about hear is that the issue would not be from build up of the valves as I'm sure he when through the heads. The few post before this talks about this issue which should not be an issue once I found out Testbud built the engine opposed to an old used tired engine.

A tapping sound most likely from the valves needing adjustment; knocking sounds are not good as it may be a rod or main bearing? Be sure to double check the valve gaps on all eight rockers!
