I was removing the last old crusty spark plug and it broke off. The threads from the spark plug are still in the head. I was able to vaccum out the insulation/ceramic stuff. Anyone have an EZ out or reverse threaded drill bit (the drill bit thing was something I found online, I've never done it). Anyone ever had this issue and resolved it without removing the head?

if the part where the spark plug socket broke off like it sounds it did, this could be pretty tricky.
I would suggest removing the head and working with it on a bench.

I have extractors but we dont sell them, I have broken extractors, and to get them out after breaking can be very difficult.
if it were me I would remove the head and drill the broken part completely out taking care not to destroy the head. if you take your time you can drill it out to the thread and probably not even have to helicoil it. if you want to bring me the head I will see what I can do but I am pretty busy with building a customers car at the moment so he can cruise to the Texas Classic.

Bo, you will at the very least have to pull the motor to have enough room to work on it, with the motor out it's not much more work to pull the head. I'm with everyone else, drill that ish out.
