It happens after the motor is shut off..
and becuase the butterflies are all but closed at idle -from my readings and understanding is the pressure below the butterfly rises to the point it begins to syphon fuel from the bowl and the fuel will trickle from progression ports.
It seemed to have this problem early on .. then went away.. but obviously was waiting for the right circumstance to happen again..
I understand this.. and can certainly be wrong.. They may have an obstruction not allowing the pressure to just bleed out.. possibly in the gasket ? some say you can adjust this by the airbleed also by cracking it op the pressure can be relieved..
Floats are set at 11mm -carbs are new.. regulated with an Holley regulator at just under 3psi..
the leaking is not happening during operation.. it comes after the motor is shut off..
If anyone has a better more specific cure.. that would rock.. because even though I think I understand things and how they function.. I have been known to be an idiot also
so I'm always up for learning or understanding better than I do now..
