I am using this thing to install the flywheel gland nut. Do you just use a torque wrench and torque to spec? I understand it is a torque multiplayer. Only thing I could find on line is to divide torque spec by 9 to get proper torque wrench setting. Is this correct? :help:

On mine, it's cast into the body of the tool. It's somewhere along the lines of 9-10 times multiplication.

Yea.. I usually dab a little oil or grease on the small gear shaft that is for the flywheel teeth part.. I always think that the friction will mess with the torque reading . but basically you need a torque wrench.. and a 7/16 socket.. torque to about 40 ftlbs ...

make sure the flywheel O ring is installed.. and the rear main is fully seated..

after torquing it down.. recheck your endplay..

need a flywheel lock also.

Those are great tools! Most guys dont have a torque wrench that goes that high, so that thing really comes in handy.

Does anyone know if the torque tool fits the 5x130 pattern?

Dang. Ok thanks.

My screwdriver tip broke off inside the rear drum when I was trying to adjust the shoes. Now there's a horrifying grind/squeal... :furious:

Yeah, go ahead and laugh it up, lol
