Yeah, but I'll have to drive it like this tomorrow. If there's anyone whose house I can stop at on my way home tomorrow evening so I can use a big torque wrench for a few min, please let me know. Any place on the north side will do! Thanks!

(This is another reason why I can't wait to put disks on the rear!)

Dang. Ok thanks.

My screwdriver tip broke off inside the rear drum when I was trying to adjust the shoes. Now there's a horrifying grind/squeal... :furious:

Yeah, go ahead and laugh it up, lol

....you aren't the first person this has happened to....Sucks you have to tear it all apart to fix it.

Kids....... :P

Does anyone know if the torque tool fits the 5x130 pattern?

No only VW bolt patterns. bet you could build an adapter though.

I modified mine to fit the 5 X 130, welded up the 4 lug holes and re drilled.

Well, it worked, but I had to get it lined up just right. My long studs caused some problems hitting the arm of the tool as it turned around. I used some junk lug nuts so I wouldn't mess up my nice polished ones. It might have been fine if I had open-ended lug nuts.

Good thing is that I was able to get the screwdriver bit out and free up the adjuster screw. I have good brakes again! Thanks Ryan!
