What is the best way to remove and replace the crank pulley? I need to remove it to replace that bit of tinware behind the pulley. I have the right socket but it just wants to rotate. Also, what is the torque on that? Thanks.

Use a hammer on the wrench acting much like an impact it should be enough to loosen the bolt.

It's in the car. I don't have an ebrake at the moment otherwise that would help.

Nah it doesn't matter I have always used a box end wrench and a hammer to knock them loose.
