I've searched without results for a You - tube video on how to correctly adjust an automatic choke on my '66 Beetle. Any help will be appreciated.

Not sure if it's right or not but I have always adjusted them by holding the terminal where the wire goes on and turning so the flap opens completely and then change direction and just as the flap is closed tighten the screws and test.

Yea or .. Losen the three small screws that hold the element and while COLD twist it with the throttle lever not touching to when it just barely closes the throat.
You'll be looking watching down the throat when and where to set it.
you just don't want it to be loaded (spring load) when closed and not fully open when heated up.
