Post subject:  Oil Pressure
The motor not break in yet and it only about 200 miles on it. Went on a first long trip about 57 miles and it run great. Motor is hot but not burn my hand on dip stick. Oil level is good. Ready to go back home, the green light (speedometer) come on with oil pressure and motor act little funny. I cant tell where. Any idea what to look at? :help:

I don't have oil pressure gauge so I cant tell.

A flickering light at idle (stopped) can be ok when the motor is hot, on a hot day in stop and go traffic my light will come on when idling. Light on while moving, at RPM is bad.

Dean his light is staying on. I would make a visual check of the wiring to make sure there are no issues, then I would start at the switch and make sure it is working properly, then I would check the pressure relief valve, it may be sticking. You can also hook up a temporary oil pressure gauge. I would then move to the pump.

Light on is not good. The sender connects ground, when you disconnect the sender wirer from the motor, and tape of the wire, is your light still on? It shouldn't light at all disconnected.

where can I find good oil pressure sender?
Might add oil pressure gauge.
maybe the light switch is bad.
What about the motor act little funny when the green light is on..

James, this probably goes w/o saying, but don't drive it any more till you get to the bottom of this. Those oil pressure switches only take about 7-8 psi to switch, so if you're above an idle and it's still on your motor is seriously starving for oil. As a general rule, you should gain about 10psi of oil pressure per 1000 rpm of motor speed. When the engine is cold it should also have way more oil pressure, like say 40-50 psi at idle when stone cold.

Is your light off when you first start the engine and then comes on as it warms up, or it just never turns off?

yes, it come on when warms up the engine for few second.
