Just the carbs. I cleaned them and reset them to the basic starting point |

SO you smell gas ? Timing ? basics , spark at the plugs , gas in carbs , wires on the right plugs , hmmmm.. |

Timing hasn't changed. Haven't moved the dist. I can see gas squirt in the carbs. The inductive pickup from the timing light picks up power in all the wires, EXCEPT number one wire... |

Have you tried using starter fluid? |

Yup. Miguel came over and we tried that. Seemed to help a little but still no catch. We tried his coil and condensor that we knew were good. Same thing, just cranked and cranked. New rotor and new cap too. |

I do have brand new plugs that I can throw in, but the ones in there weren't very bad at all. |

Are you sure you see spark at the plug wire to ground? If you have fuel , spark and timed. it should at least try to fire. |
