Ok so I have power at the coil and I used an inductive pick up to determine there's power through three plug wires. Turns over but never seems to fire. Carbs have gas and accel pumps are working. I checked the points gap and it's good. What should I check next?

Just the carbs. I cleaned them and reset them to the basic starting point

SO you smell gas ? Timing ? basics , spark at the plugs , gas in carbs , wires on the right plugs , hmmmm..

Timing hasn't changed. Haven't moved the dist. I can see gas squirt in the carbs. The inductive pickup from the timing light picks up power in all the wires, EXCEPT number one wire...

Have you tried using starter fluid?

Yup. Miguel came over and we tried that. Seemed to help a little but still no catch. We tried his coil and condensor that we knew were good. Same thing, just cranked and cranked. New rotor and new cap too.

I do have brand new plugs that I can throw in, but the ones in there weren't very bad at all.

Are you sure you see spark at the plug wire to ground? If you have fuel , spark and timed. it should at least try to fire.
