Generally speaking yes, you would need different length PRs. Aircooled.net sells them pre-made for 1.25 and 1.4 rockers for engines that use stock length PRs with stock rockers. http://vwparts.aircooled.net/ACN-HD-Alu ... rbp125.htm

I've always cut and assembled my own, that way I'm sure they are correct. But my motors generally are not stock width either...
