Note to self....... I have told many people over the years to weld that damn sump pickup tube extension on when running a deep sump. My dumbass forgot to order a sump and installed it after the fact , which at that point motor was together and welding wasn't an option. Well last time at the track the pick up tube fell off and smoked #2 rod bearing, and once the crank was stripped of its rods there was no ping so the crank got hot enough to get a crack. It is now on its way to dpr. |
