Has anyone ever has a worn out shifter rod ?
Tonight we tried to adjust a shifter and couldn't get it right. We installed a new shifter and still couldn't get it right. The coupler is new. The shifter rod bushing is there but not in right. But when we had the shifter out there was a lot of wear on the socket.

I am going to do that but will be taking the rod out and seeing how much difference it has with the shifter ball.

Unless it has NO grease and has 2 million miles, it prolly isn't the cup.

There wasn't any grease anywhere on the shifter.
