Our vent windows have always been really loose, and a few people have told me that there's a 10mm that could be tightened to make the windows tighter. Well I pulled one of the door panels off and found this:

looks like your missing the bracket that holds the vent windows rod

I need to find a pair. Anybody know where I could possibly get some?

are you sure becuse on the later 65 and up the Bar is behind the skin.

The bar is behind the skin, but there's nothing to tighten back there.

you are missing these two bolts

that puts pressure on the retainer clip.

Yup, Ethan's got it. There is a bar that those bolts bolt to also inside there, you will need the bar and the bolts

Yup. Where the hell am I going to find some of those? I'm tired of not having vent windows, lol.

you can make the bar out of stock and tap it. the screws you can get at homedepot
