 Post subject: Seat Knob

Does anyone know how to remove these without breakeing them? I want to get the seats powdercoated, but I can seem to get these things off. Thanks for any help.

Thanks I saw that as well, but that is for the side adjuster. I need to remove the knob in the pic, he needed to remove the one in the red circle. Good looking out though Chuck :thumbs:

I have always thought they glued them on some way, I took mine off and there are no threads on the steel bar. i would be happy to snap a pic.

I dont want to break them, I want to be able to reuse them. I didnt know if there was some special stuff out there that loosens the glue without damaging the knob ;)
