Well I went over to Eric's today and helped/watched him make the prototype for the "Gauge Pole." We used my car to measure the curve on the tunnel to make the mount. Here are some pictures I took when I got home today. I'll try to mount tomorrow and take some better pictures.

Cool pictures!! I've been thinking about how to run the wires for the gauges :ugeek: . Drill the bottom of the mounting base in the center of the tubing. Drill the tunnel run the wires trough it and out at the bulkhead. Drill small holes at each gauge hiding the wires. Any other ideas?

Yeah I was just thinking about that too. I'll be using some nice stainless steel bolts with the standard 8x1.25 thread :) .

http://store.summitracing.com/partdetai ... toview=sku Here's a nice looking gauge that doesn't cost too much. 2 5/8 gauge

but we need a mounting pod like this

Yes it should, look at the picture of the other gauge pole, it has the same mounting cups with the pedestals.

Nice work!!!!!!! That really looks good. I just bent the other two we cut out. So tomorrow after 5:30, we can finish the mounting bases if you want.
