My 67 has issues when I try unlocking the door. Is this a common issue? Any advice on fixing it?

Take the lock cylinder out, spray it down with carb cleaner then lube it up with some WD40. If it still has the same issues, pull the cylinder back out and mess with the lock parts till it works. I rekeyed the door locks on my notch.

Don’t ever use WD-40 in your car locks. WD-40, and similar petroleum based lubricants can, over time dry into a sticky film that not only inhibits the moving parts inside the lock but also traps the dirt and road grime leading to all sorts of lock failure.

Better to use graphite powder or Teflon or silicon based lube.

I never use my door locks so I really dont have that problem.

most of the time 67 door handles get broken.
take the handle off and push the button in.
Do you see the guide pin come out too?
they always break off right there and it makes the door impossible to lock or unlock.
that mixed with a 45 year old lock mech that has never been cleaned.....

if you handle is broken i can fix it.
