Do you park inside the garage because if you are leavin it out side then it will fade again.

If the paint is porous and you put wax on it then it will just be absorbed
And look awefull. If it is ruff then wet sand it and buff it. In this case I would say pay someone that knows what they are doing. If the paint is still smooth it may just take a waxing but I would try a small spot first. I had a friend when I was a kid who waxed his 69 camero it was grey but when he was done it was white chalky Color the wax absorbed into the old paint and it looked like crap. He was better off before he started.
