Does a beetle need a custom Rotisserie? Or will any general one have the ability to be adapted? When I do the paint and body work on my oval I want it done right. I want paint everywhere.....
Anyone have a Rotisserie?

Think of it like a pair of engine stands bolted to the bumper brackets on the front and back of the car. It enables the car to be rotated 360 degrees so it can be worked on from any angle........

I considered building one for my project but scrapped the idea since I dont restore bugs for a living it would probably be used once or twice by me and thats all

Those things aren't that hard to build. The casters to move it around will cost a couple of hundred, and the steel around the same. That is unless someone has some we could use.The frame is made from 3" box tubing 1/4 thick. One piece needs to be a little bigger or smaller to I.D. and O.D. Also, like an engine stand it will have round tubing to rotate it. We just need a doner car to make the mounts. I would be willing to help build one in the future we all could use if we needed.
