Call Gary at Pinemont auto salvage before u buy a repop. He will have an og one and maybe even a repop one. |

Did you try Kermit ? just be sure to buy in pairs if you go after market ... or take your old one to match it . |

Also try Austin Vee Dub, talk to Dave in used parts. He's a good guy, I go to Austin a few times a year. I'll be there in March, I can bring something back for you. (not sure when you need the parts). |

Thanks again, Bo. I checked out the web site and it says he has a 68 rear fender and a couple 69 fronts. I will call tomorrow to confirm. I hope he will hold it for me. I may grab a front as well if one is in better shape than the one I have. |

Talked to Dave and he took the time to go look and found me a perfect rear and found me an extra excellent condition front (incase the one I have is not usable). I pick them up Sat night while in Bastrop for Army National Guard duty. He even told me about a VW show they are having Sunday with live music and free beer, but I don't think I can make it!
