 Post subject: vdo gauge help

amps...ive hooked up the L+ to the ign. and the b+ to the battery and the gauge is reading constently....

the oil pres.....gauge is spikeing when i turn the car to the on position

When I was putting mine in, it was doing that too. Triple check all the connections.

Is L for Lights ?? and B for power??

Seems Like B should be hooked up to switched power (ign)

there will be a ground and a sending unit line..

and the Lights get hooked up with dash lights.. Little grey and with red stripe wire..

The guage should not have full time power..
