I had 3 miles left to go home but broke down. Half of the electric work and the other half is not working. I've been looking around for over 10 min and got nothing. Made a phone call for help and then all the electric came back on. Started the motor and wouldn't start. So, I went ahead and fixed the point again and the motor starts up and made it home. Any idea why it doing it? :help:

When you say half works what stops working exactly?

The Points is not burning, guess it off. Going to throw point and put electronic.
The electronic ignition, oil light and temp light not working. headlight work fine.

That was just a guess, I wouldn't buy one just yet... Check your connections first, maybe one is loose.

Check the fuse panel....cracked, see if you have power at each fuse
