I had 3 miles left to go home but broke down. Half of the electric work and the other half is not working. I've been looking around for over 10 min and got nothing. Made a phone call for help and then all the electric came back on. Started the motor and wouldn't start. So, I went ahead and fixed the point again and the motor starts up and made it home. Any idea why it doing it?

Are you burning up points ? When you say half works what stops working exactly? |

Check the fuse panel....cracked, see if you have power at each fuse |
