I'm pulling a new wiring harness I purchased from Wolfsberg West into my 68 Beetle. I bought the car without an engine so I'm not sure of the previous setup in the car. The motor I purchased has an alternator. There is not a voltage regulator under the back set. Looking around on the net I've gathered that I will not have a voltage regulator with an alternator setup. (the regulator is built into the alternator I guess?). Is that correct? Anything else I should look for as I pull this harness into the car?

Thanks
David

if you have the 3 prong alternator, it has an external regulator you will need. all other bug alternators are internally regulated (most likely you have one of these). Run the harness as normal, but do this
