You hafta have the bushings reamed to fit the king pins. I didn't know you had a reamer.......The parts are the easy part.

I dont have a reamer but Kermit has them exchange, just swap parts and its done.

Won a set on Ebay.. The reamer you need is 21/32 through 23/32 adjustable reamer. Someone correct me if I'm wrong I believe that's in the .710 range for tolerance.

thanks man I found a couple between 15 and 50 bucks, good thing paypal upped my limit lol
with the bushing being brass cant they be done by hand? or is it better using a drill press?

By hand with a tap handle, unless you have a way to set up the part and hold it down perfectly staight on a drill press. It's important to get the reamer started straight. The one in the link has a pilot sleeve. Also turn the reamer clockwise coming out of the bushing too.

so its basically just like running a tap.
I can remember using a reamer when rebuilding heads when I was in high school but its been quite a while since I was in school.
I am considering going to lonestar college to take some courses on welding and maybe some machinist classes. I have always loved seeing people use those cool tools.
