those look great! I think I will use that idea. I did notice that one of the original plugs is partially in the hole. I'm gonna try to take it out with a scrib. if I am unsuccessful, what damage can I do if I remove the four bolts from the top of the steering box to get it out. that is one of the few things I have never disassembled.

To take the top off remove the four bolts and then you need to remove the adjuster by unlocking it. The top will not come off without doing this because the adjuster is threaded to the top. No big deal putting it back. Read the book on the resetting of it when you put it back together.

OOH... nice.. I always wanted to drill two very small holes on each side of the engine compartment..
measured up and positioned perfectly for a long thin flat head to adjust dual carbs from under the fender well..

could use these plugs to seal up the holes when not in use..

I think this is a great idea.. if I do say so myself!! :P

you wouldn't have to hack your engine bay if you had EFI, I'm just say w:pw

Hey the package has a mixture in it of 6. When I got home my pakage had been reduced by two. But I got the ones I wanted. The others are more of a button look and not as flat. just look for the package.

What's the easiest wau to get to the steering box to change it. Under the car or remove the gas tank?
