At what point (How low) do lowered ball joints need to be used?

If you got quality german BJ's then you can pretty damn low. "lowered balljoints" are really just german/quality BJ's since they can handle a little more angle then the cheapo ones.

Actually lowered BJ's have material removed from the slit in the cap that holds the ball in the cup.. allowing for a greater angle..

But if your just doing spindles.. everything else is in stock location and nothing is required..

infact you can use spindles and even an adjustable beam and get away with a good drop with stock..

the amount they removed to allow for the angle -I assume works.. but you'd have to be on the ground
up front and way in the air in the back to really feel it..

if your lowering the back along with the front.. everything goes back in line anyways..

Sounds like I am good then  . The ball joints I have in there are German and only have maybe 2000 miles on them. I wil not be slammed on the ground.
