Steveo and I did a whole bunch years back..
we cut out the rear and hammered out the ball joint.. welded the left over to heat it up.. dropped it in water the the left over piece fell right out.. then blasted and painted the arms... then pressed in new joints..
I think I remember the process.. but is there anyone that can do them in the club ? easier and quicker than I can?
Dan and I both could use a set.. An Exchange program would be best also..since I can not be with out my car for too long.. these days..

I have always just beat the old ones out and heat up the arms and install new ones. I have used machine shops in the past that can usually do them fairly quick.

Brad and I did a set in his garage using a mini desk top press. Took all of about 10 minutes and we did not heat anything up. He did have a tool he hand made that went into his mini press.

in this video you can see the tool that brad has (his was home made though) he used one of those little desk top presses though. I have never seen a press like the one in the video

Just a quick update.. for those who either don't have access to a shop or know where to go.. or how to do them yourself..

I ordered a FULL set of trailing arms and Ball joints.. they come fully assembled with German joints.. and new accentric (sp?) nuts.. for 90 bucks plus a 60 dollar core..
from WOLFGANG INTERNATIONAL.. they were here in 4 days.. Great shipping and service..

took me about 1 and half hours to replace them completely and check alignment etc.. back on the road.. nice and TIGHT..

not bad --not bad at all..
