Hi,
One of my IRS Diagonal arms had some smelly dirty bearings, noticed after I got the axle removed. I got the entire hub torn down and cleaned. Noticed that the race appears to have an extra "groove" in it. Almost like the roller bearings started riding into the race. Anyone seen such a thing? Not sure if I should replace this arm or go ahead and press in a new bearing and let it ride. Can see discoloration on the race. Not sure what the best remedy is for such a hub.
Nick

I have no knowledge of IRS but I have replaced the races before in a few drums on my dump trailer, the races has saved me a ton of money over the years because when the bearing goes bad and cuts groves in them I am able to replace them with no problems and not have to buy a new drum.

I got a couple arms if you need one just let me know I replaced the bearing and races on one before but don't remember it looking like that. If your local and want to come look at the arms I got we can see if they look different and if not just replace your races.
