Yesterday I made a special tool to get door hinge (and gates) screws out. I've always used a manual impact wrench, but its difficult swinging the hammer without causing other damage and it takes forever.

I used a old pointed chisel for the air chisel (one i never used), two taiwanise sockets. Tig'd together. Pull the trigger for a few seconds of pounding, and apply some torque with the breaker bar. I took off a door (8 screws, t2 door) that I doubt had been removed in 40 years in about 5 minutes.

Cost $0. old crap I had laying around and 5 minutes with the tig.
