ring and pinion. the R&P gear's ratio is multiplied by the ratio of what ever gear you are in to give you the final ratio. For instance, my 4th is a 1.04, and my R&P is a 3.88, so my final ratio in 4th is 4.0352 :ugeek:

yeah, i wish i had a 5th when i drive mine on the freeway sometimes, but 3500 rpm at 65 mph isnt too bad. Yours should be doing about 3110 rpm at 65 mph, and 3,347 rpm at 70 mph... very nice....

My car is not the fastest in Houston. I just drive it like a bat out of hell. I'm not afraid of high RPM like most guy's are, I have no problem dumping the clutch at 7k ,O and I tend to break shit on it on a regular basis. mostly tranny mounts

i have almost the same motor that ethan has the only difference ill still be driving mine while im helping fix his...i dump the clutch at 3 grand....the car will never see 7 grand..
