So whats up with becoming a DLK member? Do I need a running or a project VW to join? I mean before it started with the website and all I was asked to join by Paul and I said I would. I know I hadn't been to any functions because I don't here about them. Seems like I sell my "OVAL" racecar and give my extra VW parts away no one calls me anyone to say about wants going on anymore... I can see who my real buds are. Just curious.

Basically new members are voted in by existing members. If someone is interested and they let us know we can invite them to our various work days and so on to get to know them, then we vote. I hope it doesn't sound snobbish, that's not really the case, it's just that we want people who can be *really* dedicated as we all put a lot into each other's cars... It's a very close brotherhood...

Coming to work days busting ass on fellow members cars. you dont have to have a project or running VW. You just have to show up and show that you want to help the group grow. After that we members take a vote and majority rules. all my fellow members can add to this but it gives you an idea

Thats cool.. I totaly understand what you guys are talking about... Well Im very interested in becoming a member so just give me a time and place and I shall be there.... I love getting down and dirty so thats not a problem as long as it involves working on the cars......LOL As you guys know Im getting closer to stabbing the motor in and getting bella's heart beating again this week.
