Last Saturday night, I went to the HMP for the last night of the 2009 season racing. It was a blast. 3/8th mile paved oval. NasKarts, Pro Trucks, Eco-Stocks, Modifieds, Super Stocks, and Late models. Lots of bumping and some good crashes.

At Intermission, they brought all of the race cars out to the front straight and let the crowd go walk around and look at the cars and talk to the drivers. Kids got posters and some got t-shirts.

According to the site, http://www.houstonmotorsportspark.com/, the track can be "rented". Once I get my car lowered, this would be a lot of fun.
