I've had a hell of a week, I'm ready for snow


Tuesday morning, getting out of my lame as driveway with a 3 point turn, I hit the water pipe going into my house. Water everywhere. Called 311 to turn it off at the street, because the crack was below the cut off valve. 7 hours and 40,000 gallons later, they turned it off (also turning off my neighbor's water, because they don't know what they are doing)

hack up the pipe, hit ACE hardware, come back and fix it in the freezing ass cold, then wait until the next morning to call them to turn it back on. Rolling blackouts, all day, so no water and off and on power. 5 hours later, dude shows up to turn it on, but I have no water. he thinks it's frozen underground, and tells me to call back at 3:30 if I still don't have water. Then I figure out, he turned my neighbor's back on, not mine. Call him back, about 5:30 he shows up, gets it figured out, and I have water. Rejoice! best shower ever

anyways, let it snow! they will send me home from work, and I can go take pics of the oval in the snow. Maybe even do some 36hp donuts or figure 8's!

you can see that getting my big ass truck in there is difficult. hence, why I need to sell the oval, buy a single cab, and trade my daily truck in for a sports car or fough dough

Nice work! Donuts in the 36 sounds like fun, I may have to do the same once it snows.
