Does any one know how resisters work? I keep blowing the fuse to my blinkers and my flasher also

Check the wiring in the fenders and engine compartment

I would unplug one wire at a time on the fuse that blows and use the blinker until you remove the wire that doesn't blow the fuse then trace that wire to make sure it's not pinched somewhere.

The wire that blows the fuse goes to the 12 volt flasher and to the switch and resister

If it only happens when you turn your steering colmn right, I would look at the turn switch itself.

OR

does it only happen when you turn on the right side flasher?

Try swapping the black with green stripe wire at the turn signal switch with the black with white stripe if the problem changes to the opposite side it will tell you the switch is fine and wiring is at fault. I am not seeing a resister anywhere in the diagram
