So I just happened to come across something new to me called "chrome powdercoat." Has anyone done this at all? It seems very similar to actual chrome but just wondering if anyone has seen it firsthand. Considering alternatives for my wheels since there are no chrome plating shops in my area. Heres a picture i found of chrome powdercoat.

Chrome powdercoat sounds neat, probably not as shiny but should hold up for a long time!

Yeah. I just dont wanna pick that just to be dissatified with it. It seems very hit or miss with the look from the google images ive found. Any ody use any chrome plating shops that they would recommend? Seems like they dont exist in my area.

I have seen chrome powder coat, looks nice but not as shiny. I think it would look good on the split with black, it's no real shining. I will stop by a place up here that does it and get you a sample. They have 2" by 3" pieces of metal with actual coats done on them.

Is that the same process as the two spray gun technique with nickle? Like that Audi on West Coast Customs? If so, me and Kostya saw that car and we were NOT impressed...

They realy have not mastered chrome powder coating. I think it looks like chrome paint. I'd say don't do it.
