Notice that most of these are from slides .... Color is a special process , special film, because of that I guess it was not wide spread... but Wikipedia indicates way back 1800 it being experimented.

Yeah I read that too Wayne. That just trips me out, from what I read Kodak came out with film in the 20's that was color but from what I gather you would have to send it off to get it developed after exposure.
