So the car won't roll to Houston without a full trailer... I though about a tow dolly, but the tires aren't worthy. Does anyone have some 4-bolt rollers that I could borrow? I'm still trying to work this out.

I have some ... You need to be the judge on the condition. They have been sitting in the weather for at least two years. I do have two new tires but rather not mount on these unless I had to. My plan is to have a set of stock wheels all painted orig. But you could use them for the trip. you just have to mount and unmount. Come look at them.

I have a truck.
I have a trailer.

At 9mpg I would look at other options first or the trip may cost more than the car.

That's why I was possibly going to rent a trailer or dolly once I got there.

check out https://unitedroad.com/instant_quote.php It's who I use for shipping cars the last few. From Dallas to Houston for my mini truck was only $250, which made way more sense to me than truck, trailer, gas mileage, 9-10 hours of my life, Dallas traffic, etc.

I've found them to be pretty competitive price wise, and much better service than other places. UShip is always an option too, but a lot of people that give quotes are just brokers, hold out for someone thats actually picking up the car

I got a quote of $532.50 from them just now, which includes a $150 inoperable vehicle fee... It wouldn't be bad if it was running/driving...
