Trying to pick up a new project in northern LA, but not sure yet. 6 hours from Houston. If anyone would be willing and able to lend a hand within the next couple weeks, I'd sure appreciate it. I'd be willing to drive up to Dallas for a trailer if I can bring it back down to Houston.

There are a couple of Houston members who have trailers. Jason, Jeremy, and Ryan all have trailers try hitting one of those guys up. Jason and Jeremy dont come on the board very often and Ryan may be out of town he travels a lot. My son has soccer on Saturdays or I would be down for a road trip. SOOOOOO the big question.... Watcha gettin? :hillbilly:

My truck is scheduled to go into the shop for body work next week, but honestly, I'd consider borrowing a truck and renting a trailer one way when you get there. Dragging a heavy trailer 400+ miles empty will seriously eat up your gas, which may pay for the trailer rental. Then you're free to speed up there not worried about a trailer, and can take your time getting home. just something to think about anyways. I dont own a trailer, I always rent one, so I try not to haul it too far empty unless it's a lot cheaper

That's a good plan Eric. I hadn't thought of that.

I like the driving lights ... wonder where I can get some like those with the bracket that fits the bumper like mine?

The bumpers should be the same. They didn't change until 73-74.
