I just wanted to remind people the board has this function (uploading and auto resizing of full size pics)... I had honestly kind of forgotten about it myself. But in light of recent events with Photobucket, seems like a good time to remember it's easy and convenient to host and post pics on here. Here are the steps: 1) Create a thread or reply to a post 2) just below the box where you enter your post text, find the "Choose File" button and click it 3) Navigate to the folder (On your computer or phone, same thing) and select the file you want 4) After you choose your pic, it will take you back to the posting screen, hit "Add the File." 5) A window will temporarily open and show the upload progress, should be pretty fast, then again it will take you back to the posting screen. 6) Repeat this process for as many picture as you like. 7) The default is that it will put all the pics in your post after the text, in the reverse order you uploaded them. 8) If you want to get fancy, you can intersperce them in the text by selecting the file you want from the dropdown list under "Attachments" and then hitting "Place inline" with the text cursor where you want it to appear. Now get off frickin Facebook and post some pics on here with your projects!

Thanks Doc. I have a few build threads that I will have to fix once my links are taken down |

I have a few build threads that I will have to fix once my links are taken down There's a fix for the broken photobucket pictures, check out the older pics in my 55 build thread, they're showing again. Not sure how long it will work, but in the mean time... The trick is to add ~original after the .jpg but before the image tag. It will look like this: ...jpg~original[/IMG] when done properly. Try it out. Maybe I'll post another thread on that fix. |
