Looks like I'm going to the season opener of the Pirelli World Challenge, March 7-8 to watch some nice GT racing at Circuit of the Americas.

Nice, I may be going as well. My homegirl from SAC is now married to one of the head mechanics for #45 in GTD class, and still good friends with team flying lizard. Nicco is actually building a 58 rag in his spare (lol) time

Yeah there were a lot of cars. There were three categories in that race though, with the fastest pros starting in the front. The guys at the back weren't competing with the guys at the front, only within their own class.

Anyone know any DKP guys? I met an ex-DKP member who was working the Recaro booth, said he was one of the original members in the 60's. I was wearing my DLK jacket and we started talking about VW's and now he runs a German car performance shop in Berkeley, CA. I mentioned that I was from the CA bay area and that was another cool connection that we shared.

Just got my tickets in the mail for the MOTOGP in April. Should be a great weekend. The weekend before Fredericksburg.
