I have a feeling my '66 Pearl White Sedan with a Pigalle interior is fairly common. It seems as though every other VW sedan I see is Pearl White so it must be one of the more popular color. How many of you have or know of someone with a 1966 Pearl White Sedan with a Pigalle interior?

as far as I know, they only made them from August '65 to Dec '65. Sure they made a lot, but how many survived in good condition. For years, the hard part was keeping them original. You can't find the carpet, but TMI recently re-tooled their '66 seat covers to be the correct pattern. They have also stepped up to make almost correct 66 door panels - sans the chrome pieces and the arm rests. Finally, they did find and now offer these in bright pigalle red

I still have the dream of finding a black or white Pigalle squareback with a sunroof.

I'd be ok with RHD or LHD
