I called the guy. He still has it. I'm starting my rotation tonight and can't get over to see it till Tuesday. I'm sure it will be.gone by then.

Too much work needed to make it reliable you would use a type 1 motor....

Not sure the car is worth what he was asking before was 2500. Shoot him an offer on the car and maybe you can get it and sell the car.

Offer him a thousand I wouldn't pay more than that. But I wouldn't let on that you want just the engine. The engine isn't worth much more than 700 bucks especially since you don't know if it is any good or an actual 1776.
