Got a call from the guy I sold my 68 to. He's looking to sell it. He removed the windows, all the trim, headliner. Then he painted it, and it's sat for 2 plus years. He offered it to me for $800. I'm not able to take on a vw right now so I passed. he's going to put it on craigslist. Not too bad a deal, but whomever gets it needs to buy headliner, window rubber, and trim. It was a super solid car and has been stored indoors since he's had it. Engine still runs, but the carb needs looked at. Look for it on craigslist. He repainted it as close to VW blue as he could get. paint is OK, typical backyard job. Needs cut and buffed.

If I had the money.....I would buy it,and let Bo buy it back when he had the cash.....unfortunately can't afford to do that right now :( :( :(

I always liked that car and I am pretty sure Bo did also

Solid Solid car. I bought it from the original owner. No rust, not even under the battery tray!
