KBS Rust Seal Application Info

Application Info

The light rust can be sanded and neturlized with phosphoric acid or rust blast.
You need to scuff the paint with a red scotch brite pad and then apply KBS rust seal.
Thin coats and then let the first coat get tacky and then apply the second. A good paint brush is fine. (Don't skimp it will leave hair in your paint)
You can also thin the KBS with paint thiner a little. A quart would work fine for 2 coats on both sides. After installation of course (pan halves that is).

You need to mix the KBS and pour it into a cup to apply. never pour leftover back into the can as it will ruin (harden) the balance in the can.
You will also need a new brush with each coat. A resporator mask is good so can think later in life and you must wear gloves if you don't want to wear this paint for a week or more on your skin. It's that tough.

Gloss black it the color of choice. The grey is quite nice too.
