I thought the dimpled fender was referring to the rear fenders where the lights go ??

Dimpled fender or dot dash fenders refer to rear fenders only years 59 and earlier. They have a pressing inbetween the bolt holes on the mounting flange. I have been looking for quite some time and so far have only been able to come up with one :furious:

I bought new aftermarket ones and the lower edge next to the rear apron hung about a half inch lower than the apron, the orig 59 dimpled fender that I do have fits perfect. Ben, I need a drivers side rear, but if you find a complete set I'd be willing to share some of the cost.

I guess I have my terminology screwed up. I thought the front was also called a dimple fender because of the area where the running board meets the fender. It has a small protusion if it is correct whereas replacements may not have that protrusion. I am not really looking for a rear fender...sorry.

Bump, I still need that fender: also a four tab hood, really getting down to crunch time. I would like to go to paint by the end of the summer
