The craigslist motor is in huntsville where i am now so im going to go check it out later this week. May be what im looking for 325 dollars.

when you look at it make sure to check endplay, you should *barley* be able to feel it, maybe .015" at most...

There was absolutely no endplay. None. at all 0

Engine turns freely. Has the case savers built in. Whole engines there from valve cover to valve cover.

I don't think that you want zero endplay either though. How much did he want for it?

May have exaggerated a lil sorry, its in the back of a truck so i couldn't get to the engine easily but if there is any its barely any at all. I think i can get the whole thing for 300 dollars. Next week I'm gonna dig it outta the truck and take a better look at it.

minimum end play is .003". You may or may not be able to feel that much.... If there is too little end play it will burn up #1 main...
